The College Years 006 -- Girls Trip

Floppy Posse

Back to your regularly scheduled Movie Babies #MuBaes. Movie Babies is a trailer review podcast, reviewing the latest & greatest trailers. Today's episode is a special spin off of Movie Babies #CollegeYears. We reviewed not a trailer, but an entire film, as we gush over Girls Trip.

In our original review of the Girls Trip trailer (episode 017) the MuBaes proclaim Girls Trip as their most anticipated film of the year. Does it live up to the hype? How does it stand against other R-rated comedies of its kind?

The Floppy Posse assemble as past MuBae celebrity guests, Keith & Kyle join the conversation and things get raunchy. Let it be known the first half of this episode contains a lot of dudes talking about their naughty bits. If you get enough of this in your real life, we apologize and feel free to skip ahead (25:27). Also if you haven’t seen Girl’s Trip, you likely won’t get much out of this episode. (We all recommend seeing Girls Trip as soon as possible!)

So if you fall into the very small sliver of the Venn diagram that enjoys a bunch of dudes making fools of themselves and you’ve also seen the movie Girls Trip, this episode may be for you! If you want to avoid most of the shenanigans we recommend skipping to (25:27) where we talk mostly about the movie!

026 -- The Dark Tower

Back to your regularly scheduled Movie Babies #MuBaes. Movie Babies is a trailer review podcast, reviewing the latest & greatest trailers. In today's episode we review Stephen King’s The Dark Tower.

What happens when you pit super positive celebrity guest Jeff Richardson from the Everything is Awesome podcast against our cynical and cranky Movie Babies? Jeff loves the trailer, Sean hates it and Devin is in the middle. Who will be swayed? Check out Jeff and his multiple podcasts at awesomepod.squarespace.com

“Your idea can only do what it do” a wise stoner once said, as we discuss our favorite Stephen King films, have a rap battle celebration and Jeff breaks our podcast when he asks, “Do I make jokes or do you want actual facts and figures?” Somewhere in between, we discuss the actual trailers for the movies and rate them with the patented Movie Babies Rating System, based on an old Coca Cola ad.

We recommend watching the trailers first at our Youtube. Movie Babies releases new episodes every Thursday (or so). Suggest a trailer for us to review at our Facebook & Twitter

Subscribing, Rating & Reviewing are the best ways to support the show! Leave a review and we'll read it on the air and Devin will mispronounce your name! Find us on iTunes -- Stitcher -- Google Play -- Youtube --  Direct Download
